Harry Dent is the founder and president of the H.S. Dent Foundation whose mission is “Helping People Understand Change.” In the late 1980’s, using years of hands-on experience, Dent developed a new way of understanding the economy and identifying future trends based on consumers. In his 1993 book, The Great Boom Ahead, he accurately forecast the unanticipated “Boom” of the 1990s, and called for the next great depression to begin in 2008. Dent has authored several best sellers including The Great Depression Ahead in 2008, and he keeps his audience informed through his monthly newsletter, the H.S. Dent Forecast. In his latest book The Great Crash Ahead he outlines why government stimulus is doomed to failure and the economic havoc that lies ahead. Mr. Dent regularly lends his economic expertise to the media on television, in print, and on the radio, and is sought after as a panelist and speaker for international forums around the world. He graduated from the University of South Carolina and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.

James M. Seneff, Jr. is the founder and executive chairman of CNL Financial Group, Inc. He is a recipient of the 2010 Horatio Alger Award, a member of the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, and serves on the Horatio Alger Association Board of Directors. He is chairman of the Governor’s Council for the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission, and is a resident member of The Florida Council of 100. He is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Mr. Seneff’s work in philanthropy and economic development has been recognized with many awards including the Business Leader of the Year in 2006 presented by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Educators, the 2007 Industry Leader of the Year Award from the University of Florida Bergstrom Real Estate Center. In 2008 he was named Outstanding Philanthropist by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. He was inducted into the Florida State University School of Business Hall of Fame.
